Ninja Gaiden: Main Collection Exam
Ninja Garden (Japanese 忍者 外伝, German: Ninja by history ) is a computer game series of Japanese game designer Team. In 1988, the Arcade video game Ninja Renders (忍者 龍剣伝, known in Europe and also Australia called Darkness Warriors), which is the only video game of the collection a beat EM up. Nevertheless, the arcade video game was much less effective than the actual collection, which appeared in particular for the Nintendo Enjoyment System (NEW) and counts to the style of the action game. There were a total amount of 3 Ninja Gaiman games worldwide released for the NEW system. In 1995, a game collection for the Super Nintendo Home entertainment system appeared. In 2004, the Team Growth Department group Ninja restored the Ninja Garden series as well as produced an action video game applauded by many doubters. In addition, a number of updates as well as an extension under the title Ninja Garden Black appeared. In 2007, the action match Ninja Garden Sigma was launched for the PlayStation 3.
Ninja Garden is one of the biggest action franchises in the history of video games. The original game was an arcade beat em up in the style of Double Dragon, but it s Ninja Garden for the NEW that perfected the action platform formula and was the pioneer of cinematic narration quality. It is still strongly played by the Speed runners around the world and is a Shoo-in for the World Video Game Hall of Fame. Aside from the ports, the game NEW had two excellent suites made in the same style, and these three games are often called The Ninja Garden Trilogy. This trilogy received suites for Sega Game Gear and Sega Master System and a prequel for Game Boy.
In 2004, the series knew a Renaissance, starting with Ninja Garden X, a pre-mobile phone only in Japan of the trilogy Ne s, and Ninja Garden, a title of action at the third person inspired by Devil May Cry for the Xbox Original. Ninja Garden was upgraded and published as Ninja Garden Black, then redone and published for the PS3 as Ninja Garden Sigma. Ninja Garden II came out for the Xbox 360 and was redone in Ninja Garden Sigma 2 for PS3. Premise of Ninja Garden II — called Ninja Garden: Dragon Sword — came out on Nintendo DS the same year. Ninja Garden 3 is released on Xbox 360 and PS3, then has been updated under the name Ninja Garden 3: Razor s Edge for Wii U. Another mobile game only in Japan followed in 2012, and finally, in 2014, Yield : Ninja Garden Z is released a very little love for the Xbox 360, the PS3 and the PC.
I mention all this story because Ninja Garden: Master Collection contains only three of these games: Ninja Garden Sigma, Ninja Garden Sigma 2 and Ninja Garden 3: Razor s Edge. This collection should have been called the trilogy Ninja Garden Sigma HD because it better explains what you will find. It does not contain the classic trilogy NEW or the Xbox versions of Ninja Garden and Ninja Garden II.
I would not necessarily say it s a bad thing. The trilogy Ninja Garden Sigma is always three major versions of three great games. Yet during the examination of something like Ninja Garden: Master Collection, it is essential to inform the potential buyer of what he gets exactly. I think the title of Master Collection is a bit misleading.
What will probably upset most of Ninja Garden s fans after 2004 is that playing Xbox versions of the first two games is not an option. It s a potential problem because the first two sigma games were remakes and not necessarily upgrades in every way. Ninja Garden Black has extended history mode, added new enemies and boss, modernized camera controls, including mission mode, designed additional costumes and other changes to the IA and enemy controls. Many consider that this is the final version of Ninja Garden. Ninja Garden Sigma adds Rachel as a playable character in three new levels, adds additional weapons and spells, improves graphics and brings several improvements to quality of life in the game (like more backup points). Ninja Garden Sigma also removed content like cinematic, levels of levels and costumes. In addition, overall, it was a much easier game. Both versions have their advantages and disadvantages, but only the SIGMA version is offered in the Master Collection.
Ninja Garden Sigma 2 has an increased resolution and a better frame rate than the original Xbox, but to achieve it, it can not have as many enemies or polygonal objects on the screen. SIGMA 2 also attenuated violence, where blood splashing are not only attenuated but replaced by a purple mist. Meanwhile, fallen members and enemies also disappear much more quickly. Again, it depends on your personal preferences as to the best version, but only the Sigma version is in this Master Collection. Fortunately, Ninja Garden 3: Razor s Edge was just an improvement from the original, with all LCS and several minor improvements.
The three games found in Ninja Garden: Master Collection are excellent, especially the original (the other two are more or less identical). They all have an appearance, sound and reading as good or better than all other versions that have been published. If you like action games in the third person, Trilogy Ninja Garden Sigma still holds the road. And the original should be mandatory to play because it is one of the best exclusives of the original Xbox. However, buyers are suspicious that these are only Sigma versions of the modern Ninja Garden trilogy. I do not want to judge this collection for what I wish it contains (it already has three excellent games with tons of content), but by calling it a master collection, the game loses a few points because of the false advertising.
