Dead by Daylight has a new, absurd feature: running snowmen

In Dead By Daylight takes place currently a special winter event. This even brings new gameplay and lots of rewards. There is part of it for the daily login — the rest through small challenges, where you even interact with snowmen. We have all the information for you.

What is this for an event? Who logs in to Dead By Daylight is welcomed by a snowy screen. The Bone Chill event is live from 9th December to 23 December live and brings numerous unlockable cosmetics and even new gameplay.

On each map you can now discover a number of snowmen, with which special interactions are possible. Survivors can climb into the snowmen and hide themselves — similar, as in a cupboard. At the same time, however, you can slowly control the snowman and move it up.

On the other hand, killers can smash the snowmen arid and destroy the hiding place of the survivor.

What do you do for rewards? If your actions running with a snowman, then there is a special reward at the end of the match, namely one of the event cosmetics. You can earn only one cosmetic per match.

Valid actions for the Cosmetics are:

Skip as a survivor into a snowman to avoid a hit of the killer. As killer smash a snowman while a survivor is in it. Escape as a survivor with a snowman through the output gate.

If you meet at least one of these criteria until the end of the round, then waiting at the end of the match one of the Cosmetics, which you can view in the above video.

This is available for logging in: throughout December — and also in January — there is a reward alone for the daily login in Dead by Daylight. This can be a nice sum of blood points, dazzling shards or even progress for the current crack, which then unlocks more Cosmetics.

Even if you just do not have so much time to play, then the daily login is worthwhile to complete the rewards.

Despite the event there are problems: In the community of Dead by Daylight is currently still a rather frosty mood. Long waiting times for survivors will become more and more a problem, because the killer players lose pleasure. Especially the new Perks have contributed that many killers are only frustrated to set the game aside or even switch to the side of the survivors. Almost every day there are new threads that the killer existence means too much stress and one often feels main after play — too, because part of the survivors behaves topically. This is criticism that cooks up in Dead by Daylight every few months.
