The Outer Worlds 2 could get an improved mechanics with Unreal Engine 5
The Outer Worlds 2 still has a long way to go before being ready for an official launch. His predecessor, The Outer Worlds, may have received many positive comments, but his gameplay has been negatively criticized. Everything resulted in the mechanics of the game and the fighting gameplay, that The Outer Worlds 2 should improve, via Unreal Engine 5.
An update of the news that further reinforces this information is a recent list of jobs that has been found on the Obsidian Entertainment Video Games Developer's career page. The list requires a technical artist who knows the engine Houdini, in addition to a solid understanding of the operation of Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5. It seems that Obsidian Entertainment works on something that involves a possible motor change, of UE4 to UE5.
Epic Games unveiled Unreal Engine 5 in May 2020 and pointed out that this new system will release the power of new generation machines. It is composed of two key components, namely Lumen and Nanite. The first is a fully dynamic real-time global lighting function that automatically reacts to changes in light and scene. The latter, on the other hand, is a system of virtualized micro-polygon geometry that allows game designers to create as much detail as possible without compromising the speed.
The Outer Worlds 2 may not be the only game on which Obsidian is currently working, but it corresponds to the Unreal Engine Bill 5. Apart from The Outer Worlds 2, Obsidian is also busy finish confessed and anchored. Grounded is already playable in anticipated access and it is confirmed that it does not work on UE5. Little information has been provided about Anowned, but as it has been in development for so long, it could already be done even before the EU5 is ready to be applied.
