Back 4 Blood: Racist insult will be Behobe

The new beta to back 4 Blood is really good. Players are looking forward to rejecting hordes of zombies, as they were last in Left 4 Dead and otherwise playing with friends just fun, as we were allowed to learn in our preview to the game.

However, the zombies are probably not a fan of that players enjoy the title so, and therefore insult with racist insults. At least a voiceeline of the undead adversaries sounds very strong after the N-word.

An author of Kotaku has already described this phenomenon and even some users on Twitter has noticed the problem now. For example, the streamer Hombke saw himself confronted with the racist zombies and was in the first moment visibly shocked.

WB Games has now published a statement that the questionable sound should not sound like that, as is the case:

_ "Our team was informed about insult, which can be heard when playing the title. This was never recorded or planned as part of the game. The audio is a result of two different growl noises, which are played simultaneously. Together, you sound like this word. We work hardly to fix this problem and should be done hereby either in the course of the beta or for complete publication. "_

So what sounds like a racist insult, there are only two audio files that are played simultaneously. This is a very unfortunate, but definitely understandable mistake, which should no longer exist at the latest for publishing the title.
