Resident Evil 3: Nemesis It was a revelation when it was published on the PS1 for the first time, and during things like the title of Nemesis and the first-class quality of the entire experience were the main factors, the Mercenaries mode had a little influence on it . The mode was very well received by fans and critics and has since become a fan favorite since then.

Unfortunately, there will be no return in the coming remake Resident Evil 3. This was confirmed by CAPCOM to the Official PlayStation Magazine in its February 2020 edition (edition 171). Instead, mercenaries are replaced by _Resident Evil: Resistance, _ This is the most important multiplayer component of the game.

Although the removal of mercenaries is disappointing, you have to say that widerstand looks quite promising. The 4V1 structure sounds exciting, and the possibility that Capcom expands the mode after starting with new cards, characters and much more, makes it a very exciting perspective. Sure, there are no mercenaries (and hey, maybe it will hopefully give DLC), but it is still a substitute that is meaty enough.
